Lili

Nuestra Guerrera – Her big sister’s inseparable childhood companion and the second of twenty two grandchildren. Helplessly in love with mother nature, Lili lives amongst what she calls “her mountains” in Colombia. She has the curious habit of laughing at inappropriate moments and deep down she longs for the days when both her and her big sis would perform duets in matching outfits at family gatherings.
A real life warrior, Lili enjoys horse riding and long motorbike adventures, and oh yeah…..She’s beat the hell out of breast cancer along the way – pretty kick-ass.

Vale

Nuestro Pedazo – As the only Leal grandchild and niece she has rightfully so been showered with love from all angles, but don’t let that fool you.. Vale knows the meaning of hard work and is a fearless competitor, an athlete and independent thinker.
She plays a significant role in each one of the Leal sister’s lives; at the tender age of 3 yrs old she became Tia Tia’s (Alexandra) very own personal stylist and has been consulting with her on summer dresses and high-heels ever since.

Steph

Munchkin! – for so long the baby of the Leal’s, hence the family name Nena (baby). Steph has many gifts the following are – should we say – the more humble ones to list; funny, witty, an intense debater and true feminist, we could go on…She learned how to hang with her big sister at an early age, following her everywhere until they eventually became room mates. Sisterhood would eventually morph into deep friendship with a shared sense of loyalty. Were it not for the intervention of a particular gentleman from the UK Steph and her eldest sister would probably be curled up together on a sofa watching endless re-runs of Friends for a very long time….

Jayke

El que no dice mucho – blessed with the ability to sleep through the stormiest of weathers including sunarmi’s, tornado’s and hurricane’s, son number 2 brings with him an air of calm at any social event. Tall, dark, handsome with jet heeled pace on the football field, he is proud of his current ‘unattached’ status so ladies, please feel free to take on the challenge.

Kyle

El Pensante – no stone is left un-turned when it comes to decision making. Observing hijo numero uno order a three course meal is bound to be a life changing experience, it could take a bit of time. Like his dad he’s passionate about the Arsenal and cooking, plays a mean left handed game of pool and might, just might demonstrate a few of his silky football skills come the big day.

Sami

El pequeno mago – no one can seek shelter from this little 6 year old’s whit and sharp sense of humour. Destined to break hearts as well as long standing world records in the not too distant future. Little Sami is capable of recounting colourful stories of how he played football for two hours without a break, swam for the whole afternoon, watched 4 episodes of Power Rangers, arm wrestled 17 times with his best buddy Blair and posed for selfies in all 6 of his superhero outfits. All this during one sunny day in September.

Kaiden

El pequeno principe – “He throws so fast you can’t see ’em..” That’s what they said about the legendary baseball pitcher Walter Johnson, well watch out, the latest addition to our growing tribe has a right hand cannon that defies his tender years. And you can forget moves like Jagger, he’s already throwing shapes that old thunder lips would be proud of. He will steel your heart with those big brown eyes and his infectious laughter – just remember to duck when his hand is fully loaded.

Daniel

El Sabio – we all need someone we can turn to when the challenges in life threaten to overwhelm us, there is no better person than the man we all call grandad, or simply dad. Daniel tells it like it is, if there’s a decision to be made he’s already made the right one whilst you’re sitting there, still weighing up the pros and cons. Only Mr T can rival him for the amount of gold cargo he wears around his neck and on his fingers. Cool, calm and forever collected – the only thing that can ruffle his feathers is the sight of the West Indies team coming in to bat, on a rain soaked heavy pitch at Lords cricket ground.

Driving Directions
To the Farm House and Barn Venue
From 81 North: Exit 211 (Lenox) – NOT LENOXVILLE. Turn left off the ramp. Go to the blinking light and take a right on to 92. You will see a Pump & Pantry there – you may want to get gas if you are running low. Follow 92 until Gelatt. On the right hand side you will see American Car Care Center/Burman’s Collision Center. (There is about 15 minutes of driving from 81 to this turn. Before the turn, you will see Gibson Grange on the left)
Take the right immediately after the Collision Center – it has a blue tin roof. Follow that road for about 1/4 mile and take the first right on to the first paved road. You will see a sign that says Fiddle Lake 2 miles. (It’s actually more than two miles though I think.)
Follow this road all the way up the long hill. When you reach the top, there is a fork in the road. Stay to the left/straight. Keep going a little ways and you will see the lake cottages on the right. Continue past the lake and pass East Shore Drive dirt road on the right. We are the next farm on the left. There’s a sign down by the road and the house is set back.
Park in the driveway and come to the front door.
From 81 South: Exit 223 (New Milford)
Turn right off the ramp on to 492 headed toward 92. At the intersection in Jackson, turn right on 92.

From Elk Mountain: Take a right out of the parking lot. Go down Rt. 374 until you get to a T in the road. Turn left (there is a white farmhouse on your right) here. This is State Road 2077. You will pass Elk Meadows on your right. If you pass Stone Bridge on the right, you went the wrong direction. Continue past Elk Meadows to the four way stop sign at Dimock Corners. Go straight through the stop sign. Continue on this road. Pass the sign that says Camp Chen-A-Wanda on the right. Take a right on to Fiddle Lake Road when you get to the end at the stop sign. There is a deserted old house in front of you.

Park in the driveway and come to the front door.
Directions from the Rails to Trails:
Get off the D&H Trail at Burnwood. Take Fiddle Lake Road west – the opposite direction from the yellow house. Follow this for less than a mile and the farm will be on the right. (If you get to the lake, you went too far.) There’s a sign down by the road and the house is set back.
You may park your bicycle under the carport and come to the front door. Repairs and bicycle tune ups can be done in the barn. We are 15 miles from The New Milford Bike Shop. Transportation can be arranged.
